If your institution has set up the Google Meet for Blackboard Learn integration, you can create a Google Meet meeting in your course. You and your students can then join the meeting directly from a link within your course.
You can create a Google Meet link in your Blackboard Learn course. You and your students can then join the meeting directly from within your course. Let’s take a look.
On the page where you want to create your meeting, select Build Content and then select Google Meet.
Begin by typing a title. Next, select a start date and time. This is important because your Google Meet link is only valid for 24 hours after it is first accessed. Your students will see the link on the page, but won’t be able to access it until the start date and time you set here. Likewise, you should only access the link within the 24-hour timeframe of your scheduled meeting. Once that 24-hour period expires, the link becomes invalid.
Next, set an end date and time and type a description. The description will appear below the title on the course content page.
When you are finished, select Create Meeting.
And finally, when you create a Google Meet, the system creates a calendar event on your student’s calendars.
