    I WISH American recipes would just use grams for flour. I made a recipe once and I think she must have packed her flour when creating the recipe because when I converted the cups into grams there was definitely not enough flour

    Hi, I baked an apple butter cake today. When I cut it, the density / texture of the cake looks uneven, some parts got holes within. How to avoid this please. Plus the top surface has cracks as well, doesn't look nice. Thanks.

    So, I have made your chocolate coffee cake, caramel cake, and the lemon blueberry cake. They have all turned out moist but dense. They are cooked through, a skewer comes out clean. I use a scale, I usually only use a machine if I need to cream the butter. But, it is always dense. Any suggestions? Thanks.
